Greetings Rideau Cadences,
Our dress rehearsal is just around the corner…how time flies! Try to find time to go over the little things in all the pieces, like the dynamics. Pencil in anything you think you may forget in the heat of the moment!
A few things you need to know for Wednesday…
1. Indoor shoes: Thanks to everyone who remembered to remove winter boots at the door. Please continue to do this now winter has arrived.
2. Dress rehearsal: Please go directly to the sanctuary on wednesday evening. You can unpack your things on one of the pews. Please do not go onto the stage until we ask you to! We will be setting up the chairs and the percussion and need the area to be clear.
3. Chairs: To those of you who kindly set out the chairs each week in Fellowship Hall, we hope to be early on wednesday evening so we can sort out how the chairs will be placed. If you are fee to help, that would be great!
The chairs may be on the stage from the tuesday night rehearsal and would only need moving. If not, they will need to be brought in from Woodside Hall.
4. Percussion: If you can help with the moving of instruments, that would be great. The instruments for the dec 4th church service need to be wheeled to the double doors, then down the long ramp at the side of the church to the floor. We will position everything once it has all arrived. The extra percussion needed for the dec 7th concert can be placed at the back of the stage.
The instruments may be on the stage from the tuesday night rehearsal and would only need moving. If not, they will need to be brought upstairs.
5. Order of rehearsal:
1st half is the dress for dec 4th.
