THE SENTIMENTAL PART
Friends, it has been my pleasure to work with you over the past few months. Thank you for your patience, dedication, effort, attention to detail, and willingness to try anything and everything I asked of you. You inspire me, and I am so proud of what you have accomplished this term. I hope you’re proud of yourselves, too.
I didn’t take any notes on our repertoire this evening. You have done the hard work, and you have everything you need for your performance. If you practice between now and Sunday, make having fun your priority. All that is left to do is enjoy playing and sharing music with each other and with your adoring fans on Sunday. We will have a magical time!
🙂

For Sunday’s concert, ONHB has booked Brookfield HS from 12:30-6 PM.
Warm-up:
Rondos warm-up will begin at 1:10 PM in the Music Room (AKA room 154). Please arrive early enough to be seated and ready to play at 1:10 PM.
Concert:
The concert will begin at 2 PM, and we will perform second, at 2:25 PM. Refreshments will be available in the lobby after the concert, from 4:30-5:15 PM.
What to do with your coats, cases, etc:
You can leave your cases and coats in the warm-up rooms (NO valuables, keys or purses). For those bringing refreshment contributions, you may drop them off in the lobby where tables will be set up. Please note: we do not have access to a kitchen.
Getting on and off stage:
All bands will be called by a stage crew runner 10 minutes before performing, and line up quietly in the hall at the stage door. A stage crew member will cue the band to enter when stage set up is done. Please listen carefully to the stage crew’s instructions as to where to line up and how to get on and off the stage. Please line up in seated order before entering the stage.
After your performance, musicians should stand to acknowledge applause if your band leader gives a signal. Then, sit, gather all music and belongings, and exit in line ASAP. Most will exit to the left, and up the ramp to the back of the auditorium, where seating will be reserved for musicians. Your stage crew will have given you your exiting instructions in the warm up room.
Parking:
Having sufficient parking for band members and their adoring audiences can be a challenge at Brookfield. Please consider car-pooling.
