Great Rehearsal Everyone! Take some time in the next few days to listen to the listening links for the pieces. It will help you play along with the tracks if you are more familiar with the piece as a whole. I suggest listening to each track a couple of times and concentrate on a different instrument each time.

Some of our pieces are songs. These are below:

Appalachian Whisper words:

Hush, my little one, don’t ye cry; Brush away your tears.

Hush, my little one, mama’s nigh, to rock away your fears.

I will hold thee in my arms; Let you cares pass by.

Lead thee tenderly to the light, and teach thee how to fly.

Hush, my little one, go to sleep; while I gently sing.

Quiet slumber soon to keep a dream upon your wing.

Mothers, Love your children, in all that they do; oh Mothers teach your children, from your heart so true. (ends at 38)

(begin again at 57)

In the morning when you rise, sunlight shines on your face; You’ll be soaring above the clouds, with beauty and with grace.

I will watch you as you go, wave to you an smile; My love goes with you as you journey down life’s many miles.

Mothers, Love your children, in all that they do; oh Mothers teach your children, from your heart so true.
