Hallo, Elgin Encores!
The snow is here, and that means the holiday season is near!
We met Colin Williamson last week who will be directing our band next semester as I do a bit of Southern Hemisphere travelling. He ran a woodwind sectional with a few a la carte sight-reads and then played trombone with us for the second half. Great to have you, Colin!
Our next meeting on tuesday will focus on minimal rehearsing but running thorugh pieces to get a sense of what you would like to play. We are strong and can play anything: there are still weeks and weeks left.
