Hi Elgin Encores:
Thank you for a SOLID rehearsal tonight. It sounded very tight and confident. Reminder…
-There is no rehearsal next week. We will see you again on the 20th.
-Use the front door to enter the school ONLY. You may exit through any door but must enter through Brookfield’s main entrance.
-If it snows or becomes muddy, bring a change of shoes so that we don’t leave a trail throughout the school hallways.
-Our concert is Sunday 16 December 16 at or after 1PM (TBC).
-We will vote on our pieces to play at the show at the end of rehearsal on the 20th. Remember that everything carries through into semestre 2.
-Practice notes below for the next two weeks (with percussion notes & flute attachments at different speeds for Oceanscapes). Enjoy!
Also there is a trombone day scheduled at St. John’s music this Saturday featuring Donald Renshaw from the NAC. Trombonists of all levels are encouraged to attend, as well as anyone who likes anything trombone.
