Hi DJB’ers – We just had our first rehearsal of the spring extension DJB Thursday night with Heather Flinn, who so capably stood in for Rocco this week. We had a work through of the new pieces, and some of the pieces were challenging for some of us (Vehicle, I’m talking about you!), but it was a really fun rehearsal.
Barry Cottam (euphonium) has searched for links for this music and in the interests of saving people time who might be doing the same thing, here’s what he found. Some of them are the “official” links, and some are not – when Rocco’s back he may have different links to share:

Next week Rocco will be back. As mentioned in my previous email, he has asked us to bring all our old music from this year (Fall and Winter sessions). He may narrow it down somewhat, but I wanted to share the listening links we had for some of the pieces in those session with those who have just joined us, and also as a reminder for returning DJB’ers.
You can find these links in several of our Band Notes on the ONHB website at:

I also wanted to bring to your attention another band note that talks about various methods to slow down mp3’s on different devices if you want to play along more slowly:

See you next week. Happy tootling!
