Rehearsal Notes – Nov. 6, 2017

Hello Band Mates!

Ouch! Slightly late on this one, with all my apologies. To make amends, please enjoy this high value video as a convenient summary of all Macrame techniques that were previously discussed in the last few post-rehearsal Macrame meetings (Below).

Many thanks for your quick response and show of enthusiasm towards our participation at Capital Region MusicFest, next February 2018. Our registration cost will be paid and secured by the end of the day!

We have a new band member joining us this week: Richard Link, a good friend of mine, Music teacher with over 30 years experience and he plays all woodwinds, which will help in enhancing our repertoire in the near future! I hear he’s also a Macrame specialist!

I have two new tunes ready but not urgent at this point: Mr. Funkyman and, surprise, Frank Mantooth arrangement of On Green Dolphin Street. This one is difficult but I believe that we are ready for this!

This coming Monday (which would actually be today, at the time of this post 🙂 – Sectional Rehearsal for saxophones. Meeting at 6:15pm. See you there!
