Registrations are now closed for the Fall 2009 Session.________________________________________

No registration will be processed until payment is complete.

Cost of the session is $160.00.  

Payment must be made by cheque and may be split with $80.00 due immediately and a postdated cheque for $80.00 payable on September 08, 2009.

Cheques are payable to Dominion-Chalmers U.C., memo line: ONHB must be included.

Beginner Band

This registration is for "beginners" only.  It must be your very first time with New Horizons.

Please fill in the the form completely.  You may wish to change your selection at the June 16th  Information Night, in consultation with the director.  Registration is first-come, first-served as there are maximum numbers available in the band for each instrument.

Instrument choices are:  Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, Tuba, Percussion

Musical experience is required.  You should be comfortable playing the songs up to line 118 in the Essential Elements 2000 Method Book #1.  Registration is first-come, first-served, with the balance of the ensemble determining the number of players on each instrument, as determined by the director.

Jazz Band

The jazz band requires a maximum of 3 alto saxes, 3 tenor saxes, 2 baritone saxes, 5 trombones, 5 trumpets, 1 guitar, 1 bass guitar, 1 drummer, 1 auxiliary percussionist and a keyboard player.   

Band members must have at least 1 full year on their instrument in the New Horizons program.   

New Horizons concert band members who wish to play in the jazz band will be asked to register using this form.  If maximum instrument numbers are exceeded, auditions will be held.
