Registrations are now open for the Fall 2010 Session!

Please register online using the forms below.  

No registration will be processed until payment is complete.

Cost of the session is $160.00.  

Payment must be made by cheque and may be split with $80.00 due immediately and a postdated cheque for $80.00 payable on September 15, 2010.

Cheques are payable to Dominion-Chalmers U.C. (Don't forget memo line: ONHB must be included).

There are two ways to make your payment:

1.  Make your payment on site at Dominion-Chalmers United Church.

2.  Mail a cheque to Dominion-Chalmers U.C. 355 Cooper St., Ottawa, K2P 0G8.

Beginner Band
(Tuesday Rehearsals)

This registration is for "beginners" only or for musicians who played long ago and need a refresher course on reading music or getting the embouchure back in shape.

Please fill in the form completely.  You may wish to change your selection at the June 15th  Instrument Trial and Information Night, in consultation with the director.  Registration is first-come, first-served as there are maximum numbers available in the band for each instrument.

Instrument choices are:  Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, Tuba, Percussion

Intermediate Band

Musical experience is required.  You should be comfortable playing the songs up to line 184, Page 37 in the Essential Elements 2000 Method Book #1.  Registration is first-come, first-served, with the balance of the ensemble determining the number of players on each instrument, as determined by the director.

Advanced Band

Jazz Band
(Tuesday Rehearsals)

The jazz band requires a maximum of 3 alto saxes, 3 tenor saxes, 2 baritone saxes, 5 trombones, 5 trumpets, 1 guitar, 1 bass guitar, 1 drummer, 1 auxiliary percussionist and a keyboard player.   

Band members must have at least 1 full year on their instrument in the New Horizons program.   

New Horizons concert band members who wish to play in the jazz band will be asked to register using this form.  If maximum instrument numbers are exceeded, auditions will be held.
