Ottawa NHB members proudly form four adult concert bands and two jazz bands, learning and performing in an atmosphere of respect and fun.

All adults interested in learning a musical instrument in a fun and social environment - a concert band setting, are welcome to attend, hear more about the program and try out some concert band instruments like flute, clarinet, trumpet, tuba, drums, electric bass and more.

Come and enjoy some wonderful music - everything from Mozart to "Under the Sea" to Jazz - with friends, family and the community.

June 21st is also National Aboriginal Day! All proceeds from a voluntary contribution at the door will be donated to the school arts programs of Attawapiskat for much needed items to help their youth.

Friday June 10 at 8 pm - Two Beats Ahead Jazz Band (the Monday evening ONH Jazz Band) are holding a dance/fundraiser for the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.  Friday, June 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at Orchard View Wedding and Event Centre.  100% of ticket sales benefit Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.  Tickets are $20 and $10 for children under 10.  Tickets at the door or in advance from Manotick Veterinary Hospital 613-692-3411.  Email or Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, 613-692-7777  email
